Meter-Based Preventive Maintenance
With Meter-Based Preventive Maintenance, maintenance is scheduled based on the asset’s meter values. Meters could be any parameter that changes over time such as mileage, or hours of service. Smart Field CMMS provides an ability to automate preventive maintenance triggers based on asset meter values. The meter values are typically collected during the regular inspections of the assets. Smart Field CMMS provides an ability to schedule the meter based triggers when a meter value is reached, such as 30,000 mile vehicle service, or every interval, such as an oil change every 5,000 miles.
